DELTA®-DRAIN 6200 has been specifically designed for use over waterproofing membranes, where added protection is needed. The high-strength polymeric film adhered to the back side of the drainage core prevents potential die cutting into the waterproofing membrane. The flat side of 6200 is installed directly against waterproofed below grade wall surfaces. DELTA®-DRAIN 6200 also provides an effective protection course over waterproofing membranes.
Outstanding compressive strength and high water flow rate characterize this commercial grade drainboard. Its high-strength core provides a continuous path for water discharge, eliminating the potential for build-up of hydrostatic pressure against sub-surface structures. The non-woven geotextile allows water to pass freely into the drainage core. At the same time, it prevents the passage of soil particles to ensure that the drainage core doesn't get clogged.
Material:
DELTA®-DRAIN 6200 is a high-performance 3-layer drainage composite. It consists of a dimpled drainage core and a high-strength needle punched PP geotextile (non-woven) with excellent filter characteristics. A polymeric protection sheet adhered to the backside of the drainage core provides reliable protection against die cutting of waterproofing membranes. The Polypropylene drainboard has unmatched impact and tear resistance, and is unaffected by environmental stress cracking. The non-clogging geotextile is fully bonded to the dimpled drainage core which prevents it from being pushed into the flow channels by the load from adjacent back-fill material.
Application:
Due to its extremely high compressive strength (> 15,000 psf) DELTA®-DRAIN 6200 can be used at installation depths of 45 ft and more. It is a highly effective drainage system that provides a relief layer for hydrostatic pressure on any subsurface structure. DELTA®-DRAIN 6200 comes in two roll sizes (4'x50' or 6'x50'), making installation of the product fast and easy. Its flat side is installed against the waterproofing membrane on wall surfaces.
