Though environmentally friendly and visually appealing, roof gardens can cause problems for buildings when drainage is neglected. Thankfully, there are DELTA®-FLORAXX drain boards for roof gardens, the middle layer of any root-proof roof garden drainage system . DELTA®-FLORAXX provides a high water-retention capacity combined with outstanding drainage characteristics, and is an ideal and sustainable component in garden roof designs.

DELTA®-FLORAXX is a perforated drainage board specifically designed for use in garden roof assemblies. The product features large, 20 millimeter-high dimples with an octagon shape for outstanding compressive strength. Due to its high water-retention capacity and its ability to effectively drain away surplus water, this special membrane is ideal for use in extensive or intensive rooftop gardens in both residential and commercial structures. DELTA®-FLORAXX is made from 60% recycled HDPE and 40% virgin HDPE, making it one of the most environmentally-friendly products on the market today.

Material:

DELTA®-FLORAXX drain boards for roof gardens feature studded membranes made of special, high-density polyethylene. When installed, they drain surplus water effectively through large perforations between their 20 mm high octagon-shape dimples. Durable and environmentally friendly, these drain boards for roof gardens are rot-proof and designed to safely come into contact with soil.

Application:

DELTA®-FLORAXX retains rainwater in its high capacity dimples - an important safety factor for the plants on any garden roof. Any surplus-water can effectively drain away through the perforations and the open channel system under the dimple sheet. Made to lie flat as the final layer of a root-proof roof garden drainage system, DELTA®-FLORAXX is engineered for easy installation by professionals and non-professionals alike.
